Young Adult Fiction - Night road by A.M. Jenkins

Cole looks like an average teen, but he is a vampire. He possesses an extraordinary level of caution and control, he knows that one error could lock in for eternity inside a coffin. He's very experienced and a master of life on the road and he thinks he's prepared for anything. But not everyone is as careful as he is. Cole has been asked to train Gordon, so that he can learn how to fit in his new life, how to feed and how to live as a blood drinker. Cole agrees, taking him on a road trip. But no matter how carefully he plans, or how much he thinks he's in control, accidents will happen. This is a thrilling read, is a retelling of the vampire mythology, creating it’s own myths and rules. Even though the book is about vampires, it really is a study in human nature and the searching of the full personal potential.
